Lisa Neal grew up riding at an early age in Massachusetts, concentrating on eventing as a member of the Ponkapog Pony Club. After graduating from Cazenovia College in NY with a degree in Science, Lisa went on to receive her Therapeutic Instructor Certification from the Cheff Center in Augusta, Michigan.
Lisa founded the Sheriff’s Youth Ranch in Barnstable on Cape Cod, the Greenlock Therapeutic Riding Center in Rehobeth, MA, as well as a Therapeutic Riding Program for Carolina’s Medical Center in North Carolina. In addition, she organized and managed the first Southeastern Special Olympics program.
In NC, Lisa has established a proven breeding facility at Fair Oaks Farm in Davidson. Offspring from her breeding program have won USDF Dressage Sport Horse Breeding awards. Fair Oaks Farm offspring have sold in the US as well as internationally.
Lisa holds a MA License for Instructors and is a USDF Bronze Medal recipient. More recently, Lisa was accepted into the USDF “L” Judges program.
With her homebred KWPN mare, Touche´, she has competed successfully in-hand at major breed shows, including winning the 2012 Carolina Cup High Point Breed Award, as well as the Region 1 Championships at 3rd Level.
